Our History

The EGOSARI is located in the centre of the old town in Donostia-San Sebastián on a former cider house that closed in 1983. It is located in the known Fermin Calbetón Street, one of the busiest and best known streets of the old town of Donostia – San Sebastián. The interior of the dining room resembles the old traditional Basque farmhouses. The stone wall has been conserved since the reconstruction of the city, after the troops of General Graham plundered and burned the city.

Nearby, you can find the Constitution Square, a lovely place that every 19th of January welcomes the march of drums and barrels during “La Tamborrada”, the greatest celebration of Donostia-San Sebastián.
